Yesterday, I joined EDCOM commissioners from the House in launching the EDCOM Year 1 Report, which details the problems of our education system, from early childhood education to technical education, from curriculum development to student assessment, from teacher education to learning resources.
We turned over the Report to Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez. The Report and its initial recommendations provide pathways towards reform and improvement of learning outcomes.
Congratulations to my fellow Commissioners, especially our Co-Chairs from the House, Cong. Roman Romulo and Cong. Mark Go, and to the Technical Secretariat, led by Exec. Dir. Karol Mark Yee, for their dedication and hard work resulting in a very productive first year. Madamo pa kita ubrahon.
