Breaking News! Today marks a monumental step forward as the Negros Island Region bill passes its Third and Final Reading in the Senate. We thank all the Senators for their unwavering support, especially Senator JV Ejercito and Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri. I’m happy to announce nga gin-aprubahan na sang Committee on Basic Education ang substitute bill sa aton House Bill No. 8393 that seeks to strengthen our ECCD system and ensure optimal health and development of children under 5 years of age.
This will be done by making sure programs on nutrition and early childhood education are aligned and by making sure that our LGUs provide ECCD services through child development centers.
