Strengthening, empowering and capacity-building for shelter programs stakeholders are the focus of today’s meeting with the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development’s Gelzar Almira, head of Homeowners Assn. (HOA) and Community Development of Region VI and Kara Cuarom of the Social Housing Finance Corp. facilitated by District Coordinator for Housing Andrew Penalosa and housing officers of the Third District.

We thank all for their active participation in discussions on ways to address each LGU housing concerns, plans to fast track accreditation of mobilizers, trainings for homeowner associations and housing office staff, as well as legislative measures to aid execution of programs, and preparations for the formation of a Metro Third Housing Confederation.
We are inspired by everyone’s continued involvement in our endeavour to provide safe, affordable, and decent housing to residents of the Metro Third.

Joining the meeting were housing heads of Victorias Ma. Josefa Padernal, Silay Noel Doloriac, Talisay Arthur Benjamin Maramba, Murcia Randy Gamboa and their key staff, Silay Councilor Ryan Gamboa; and Metro 3rd District staff.
