First Metro 3rd - PHO - LGUs Huddle

To put more teeth to the integrated district-wide fight against the pandemic, Cong. Kiko Benitez led today the virtual meeting with representatives of the Provincial Health Office, LGU IATFs and the Metro 3rd Emergency Operations Center (EOC) group headed by BM Ryan Gamboa and Mary Ann Dino.

Underscoring the importance of identifying Covid 19 index cases and doing proper contact tracing to track pathways of contagion, Cong. Kiko emphasized the need to strengthen efforts to align collected data.

Noting discrepancies in statistical data gathered by the LGUs and PHO, the point persons agreed to hold daily on-line meetings to ensure accuracy and proper consolidation of all data that is crucial to decisions and actions to control local transmission.

Cong. Kiko Benitez reiterated the vital relevance of intensive target testing and urged LGUs to step up swabbing of identified index cases and seriously hasten contact tracing to control transmission pathways.

BM Gamboa who leads the EOC Communication Group reminded all to improve communication lines among all participants as information-sharing will help ensure effective implementation of all levels of operations to fight the pandemic.

The Office of Cong. Kiko and the Metro 3rd EOC will work in tandem to moderate the daily zoom huddles.*
